Promoting the unknown, a continuing series

One can tell that Flotow was an opera composer too – the first part of the second piano concerto is if anything even more pompous; (/but it’s still – snark) a brilliant piece of music:

I hadn’t even heard about Flotow yesterday. Point being, a lot of relatively unknown composers have made brilliant music almost nobody will ever know about. I find this a little depressing.
