I think they are too hard on Fred Thompson. He’s not a religious moron like Bush (3 of the other candidates are creationists, making each of them more like Bush to me than Thompson ever will be), and he’s relatively libertarian for a guy who actually has a chance to be elected. George Bush is no libertarian, that’s for sure.

Also, could you imagine Bush do something like this?
